If you take a right on the alley after the Ateneo-Miriam overpass, you'll find a modest little bookstore called Timbooktu. It's actually just a stall along with the other newly-set up stalls in that area (mostly composed of small restaurants and eateries). You won't miss it when you're walking from KFC going to Bo's Coffee.
Timbooktu sells used/pre-owned books, much like the style in Filbars, which is located nearby. The book products aren't at rock bottom prices but they're pretty cheap if you consider that they're in good condition. They're even wrapped in plastic, just like new ones in big bookstores; you can, however, request the salesperson to open it up so you could see what's inside.
Book subjects range from children's books, fiction, self-help, classics, and philosophy. There are some good novels also that you won't normally find in bookstores that sell pre-owned books.
